Getting a PS3 w/first Uncharted and Street Fighter 4 tomorrow. Will report back later.

Edit: Uncharted is pretty nifty thus far. SF4 is helping me to develop a blister on my thumb. Probably gonna buy GTAIV really soon.

This whole entire album is dreadful. It made me lock myself in the closet and almost puke. If I ever hear any of these songs ever again I will drive a stake through the singer's heart and dance the "Tango" on his skull.

did you get it yet

why not

I've decided that the collection concept in sandbox games is just completely beaten to death now. I would have beaten Brutal Legend in a day if I wasn't spending hours driving two feet, looking all around, driving two more feet, looking all around, etc. It's becoming the new faux-content in games and suckers like me waste way more time than we should trying to get 100%. That's the other nice thing about Borderlands: none of that shit. No completion counter, no hidden packages, nothing. The fact that all loot is totally randomized makes up for it since you have as much chance of finding something awesome when sticking to story missions as you do re-running the same spawn points. It's not perfect; the story is either weak or just re-titled Fallout fanfic the whole time, and, like Fallout, it's easy to get just way too badass for anyone to stand a chance against you, but it's still fun and I totally plan on playing through a few times at least.

but i want to play online w/ppl

Going to put another trade in towards it tonight after work for the extra credit and see if they'll break the street date for me. Probably not.

Borderlands is worth $30 to them, which is good because it's not worth $30 to anyone else.

No way I'm trading in Borderlands. On my second playthrough now (first as Soldier, now as Siren) and I'm just liking it way too much to give it up. It's plenty flawed, but it also scratches some itches really well. And I know that being able to play it co-op with a non-stranger will give it all kinds of new life for me. Warriors: Orochi, on the other hand, is waiting under my passenger seat right now to be covered in "pre-owned" stickers.

Discounting the fact that I paid over $100 for the games, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed and Little Big Planet gave me MW2 for $9.

midnight launches are generally gross

however, federal holidays the after a major video game are released, are awesome.

My midnight release experience was great, except that I think I might have broken someone's projector while we were playing it on a wall. I'm sorry but when people are drunk, there's no need to have an audio cable stretching across a dark room. So I might get to buy one of those and then not have it.

Also pretty much no reason to ever post again ITT because Modern War 2.

Holy crap it's so really good. I knew it would be good. I mean, of course it would be. But it's really good. The single player campaign came really close to being too melodramatic, but I was still into it. Probably most fun action-FPS I've played.
