Chris Ashworth is a douchebag

A few weeks ago a guy named Chris Ashworth added me on facebook with a message saying something along the lines of:

"Hi Kane. I saw that you commented on The Wire fanpage on facebook. You may remember me as Sergei Malatov in season 2. Working on The Wire was such a great moment in my life and my adding you as a friend is a way to thank you for your dedication to the show over the years."

I thought this was a little strange but I accepted his friend request. Over the past few weeks I have realised what a wanker this guy is. His status updates are always along the lines of:

1) Gotta finish my screenplay. Only way to get noticed in LA is to stand up and be accounted!

2) Just got off the phone with Wendell Pierce. You know, the guy who played Bunk!? I love catching up with my Wire castmates!

3) Hey guys, we should all celebrate Jesus' love. He is my savior!

Also, he has an addicted to The Wire app on his facebook page with his own quote from the show : "Did he have hands? Did he have a face? Yes? Then it wasn't us. Idiot!"

Compared to a lot of truly douchebag tweets and status updates I've read, he sounds pretty normal.

I mean, if I was a bit part actor trying to make it big, you'd better believe I'd be trying to build a bit of a fan following so I could, y'know, convince people to give me more work.
