Boy, do I love seeing the Yankees lose.

Of all the things that piss me off about the Yankees, Jorge Posada's incredulous 'that was a strike?!' face is easily in the top three.

as a Red Sox fan, I really think that seeing the Yankees lose this World Series would be the greatest gift I could get. They had such a stink of desperation on them the last couple years, and they're so close to washing it off that I don't know where they could go if they lost to the Phillies. Build and sign cyborg players? Create a new league? Team-immolation?

My fingers are crossed so hard that the bones are ripping out of their sockets...

I've always been a Yankees hater, but I have to say they've looked bomb as hell in the playoffs. If only Arod could start NOT STRIKING OUT, they could take this thing in five.

you did see them get completely deconstructed by Cliff Lee, right

And the only reason they beat Pedro is from solo home runs. That's not exactly Strat-o-matic.

Yes I did see them lose one game badly and then win three games in semi-impressive fashion. If you can hit home runs you don't need double steals, fyi.

My roommates root for the Yankees so I do in the interest of self-preservation. I really don't give a rip either way who wins because the Rangers CAN'T WIN ONE GAME OUT OF FOUR AGAINST THE A'S AND THEN COLLAPSE FOR THE NEXT SIX WEEKS so I've been done with baseball for about 2 months. I'm just calling it like I see it. The Yankees are better than the Phillies unless they can throw Cliff Lee on the mound every day with three days' rest every day and have Chase Utley bat all nine spots in the rotation against CC Sabathia.

I'm a Cardinals fan (way to show up to the NLDS, guys!) so I was kind of hoping a meteor would hit and take out everyone during Game 1. That said, I'm rooting for the Phillies, because I can't root for the Yankees. Probably due to my intense rational dislike for A-Rod and my intense irrational dislike for Mark Teixeira.

That, and Ryan Howard = sorta awesome.
